Preaching, Praying, Singing, Worshiping, and Studying God’s Word Together

The Bible says in 1 John 5:13 -“These things have I written onto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” God would not say that we could know if it wasn’t true.Romans 3:4 says “Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar.” it doesn’t matter what you were taught, it’s what God said in His Holy Word! So what does the Bible say you need to know to go to heaven?
1. You’re a sinner!For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God. ( Rom 3:23 ) Everybody from the Pope to the President has sinned! If you’ve lied that’s a sin. If you ever disobeyed your parents, that’s a sin. You are a sinner, so am I.
2. Sin has a Price!For the wages of sin is death. ( Rom. 6:23 )You know you’re going to die- Right? Did you know you can die twice? The Bible says And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judge every man according to their works. And death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. ( Rev. 20:13-14 ) The first time you die physically. The second time is eternal separation from God and hell!
3. Jesus Christ paid your Price!“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ( Rom. 5:8 ) God‘s only Son Jesus Christ was beaten, spit upon, nailed to a cross, and left to die, so YOU wouldn’t have to! It cost God everything! God does not take it lightly when people reject His Son. He loves you so much he gave His best! “But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” ( Rom. 6:23 ) You can’t earn it or work for it. Be good or pay for it. All you can do is accept God’s gift.  or reject it!
4. How do I receive God’s gift?That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ( Rom. 10:9,13 ) When you repent, ( change your mind towards God ) and admit you’re a sinner going to hell and in need of a Savior,  ask Jesus to save you, and let him be Lord of your life.
